Ruksana Hussain is an award-winning journalist, magazine editor, and featured writer with 20 years of experience. She is the founder/publisher of Traveler and Tourist digital magazine, and a recipient of the inaugural 2020 Richard S. Holden Diversity Fellowship from the American Copy Editors Society. This year, she won an honorable mention in the National American Travel Journalists Association honorable mention in the luxury travel category and won in three categories at the Southern California Los Angeles Press Club Awards last year. Born in India, raised in Oman, and now calling Los Angeles home, she has created a successful solopreneur business without any social or formal networks and now teaches others how to do the same in creating the life opportunities they want for themselves. Her work is geared toward women and especially toward women of color.
